Google Merchant Center access helps Blastoff Advertising review and manage advertising campaigns that depend on product data, including Shopping campaigns and Performance Max campaigns that use a product feed.
Merchant Center issues can directly affect campaign visibility. Product disapprovals, missing product data, website claim issues, shipping problems, price mismatches, or policy warnings can prevent products from serving properly. Access allows Blastoff Advertising to review these issues inside the account and connect product feed status with campaign performance.
How To Share Google Merchant Center Access
To share Google Merchant Center access, please follow these steps:
- Go to Google Merchant Center.
- Log in with the Google account that has access to your Merchant Center account.
- Open Settings.
- Select Access and services.
- Go to People and access.
- Click Add person or Add user.
- Enter this email address: [insert Blastoff Advertising Google account email].
- Select Admin access.
- Save or send the invitation.
Please select Admin access unless we request otherwise. Standard access may allow us to view and work in the account, but it may not provide enough permission to review account settings, linked services, user access, or other items that may need attention during campaign setup or troubleshooting.
Adding Blastoff Advertising as a user does not give us your personal login information. Each user signs in with their own Google account, and access can be changed or removed later from the same People and access area.
What We May Review In Google Merchant Center
Once access is available, Blastoff Advertising may review the areas of Merchant Center that affect product visibility, feed quality, campaign readiness, and account health.
- Product feed status and item approvals
- Product disapprovals, warnings, or policy issues
- Website verification and claiming status
- Shipping and tax settings
- Linked Google Ads accounts
- Product titles, descriptions, images, pricing, and availability
- Performance Max or Shopping campaign feed readiness
This review helps us determine whether product data or account settings may be limiting campaign performance. It also helps identify issues that should be addressed before increasing budget, expanding Shopping coverage, or relying more heavily on Performance Max campaigns.
Why Merchant Center Access Matters For Product-Based Campaigns
Shopping and product-based Performance Max campaigns rely on the quality and approval status of product data. If products are disapproved, missing required details, showing pricing mismatches, or affected by account warnings, campaigns may not serve as expected.
Merchant Center access gives Blastoff Advertising the visibility needed to review product feed health, diagnose issues, and connect account status with advertising performance. This is especially important when campaign results appear limited by product eligibility, feed quality, or setup issues rather than campaign strategy alone.
What If You Do Not Have A Google Merchant Center Account?
If your business does not already have a Google Merchant Center account, Blastoff Advertising can help create one and complete the setup process. Merchant Center may require website verification, business information, shipping settings, tax settings, product data, and policy-related details before products can be approved for Shopping or Performance Max campaigns.
When possible, your business should remain the primary owner of the Merchant Center account. Blastoff Advertising can then be added with the access needed to support product feed review, account setup, campaign management, and troubleshooting.
