The PPC Hero Conference Found A New Home
The Brighton SEO conference has long been considered the top conference on the organic (SEO) side. In 2024, the PPC Hero conference became part of Brighton SEO, giving attendees full access to both the SEO and paid search tracks under one ticket — a combination that’s hard to beat for teams managing both channels. The conference is held twice annually: in Brighton, UK (about an hour south of London by train) each spring, and in San Diego, CA each September. The quality of this event is unparalleled, and the conference organization is excellent.
About the Conference
More than 5,000 SEO and digital marketing professionals attend the UK edition across two days of talks, workshops, and networking. What started as a small meetup has grown into a global community of over 20,000 search professionals. Attendees come from agencies, in-house teams, and independent consultants — the mix makes for genuinely useful hallway conversations.
The Spring 2026 keynote speaker was Dr. Pete Meyers, Principal Innovation Architect at Moz and one of the most widely followed analysts of Google algorithm changes and SERP feature evolution. The confirmed speaker lineup also included Aleyda Solis (Orainti) and Alex Moss (Yoast), among 80+ speakers across multiple tracks.
A full day of intensive pre-conference training workshops on April 29 covered topics including GA4, JavaScript SEO, content strategy, and AI optimization — useful for attendees who want to go deep on a specific skill before the main event.
Conference Agenda
Some of the many interesting sessions across the SEO and Hero Conf (PPC) tracks:
- The Behavioural Data Goldmine: 7 Psychology Principles Hidden in Your Website Analytics
- Scaling ROI Through Advanced PPC & SEO Integration
- The New Rules of Google Ads: Redefining Search Marketing in the Age of AI
- One Customer, Two Journeys: Stitching Store Visits Into Your Google Ads Strategy
- Every SKU Has a Job. Most Google Ads Accounts Get It Wrong. (See our related post: SKU-Level Optimization for PMax)
A recurring theme across sessions this year was the impact of AI on search — both on the organic side (AI Overviews, LLMs, and how to optimize for them) and in paid search (AI-driven bidding, Performance Max, and audience targeting).
Summary
Session topics for the September 15–16, 2026 San Diego edition of Brighton SEO / Hero Conf are pending. We’re looking forward to returning to San Diego for this one!
